Scribes Youth Writing Workshop: The Hero in YOU

In this workshop, young authors will be asked to imagine a city: it could be the city you grew up in or a made-up city. This city and its people are facing a problem. But you are the one who can help solve it. You possess a unique superpower that will transform and solve this problem. What is the problem and the superpower? Through the process of the workshop, the problem and the answer will be revealed, and you’ll discover the hero in YOU.

Our Scribes writing workshops for middle-grade writers (grades 5-8) are led by professional local writers, and each explores a unique topic, from writing basics to journalism to poetry.
