John Daniel Tilford, Curator of Collections of OUMA will speak on the museum’s permanent collection with particular focus on key acquisitions of the past decade. The collection has expanded by more than 600% over the ten years—due in large measure to gifts in kind. The caliber of the collection has also risen sharply with the addition key works by Degas and Cezanne as well as more contemporary works by Shanequa Gay and the Gee’s Bend community.
Admission is $10 and free for OU students and museum members.
