Join us for a discussion and demonstration of the benefits and drawbacks, various methodologies, and environmental impacts of Hydroponic Gardening! Attendees will have the opportunity to transplant a starter plant into their own hydroponic growing kit during the class and will learn how to mix nutrients, check pH levels, and care for roots.

Cody J. Brown, J.D. is a law school graduate who spent 10 years in the legal industry and government contract consulting before becoming completely enveloped by the benefits and sustainability of hydroponic gardening. Now, he and his wife Teya own Taproot Hydroponics & Organics, located in Smyrna, GA, which has served the Atlanta garden community for over 10 years. Cody is dedicated to providing education to the community and has taught more than a dozen classes this year alone, including at local public schools as part of STEM classes and assisting in public grant opportunities.
