“Talking Tech” at CMoA: Clean Energy and the History of Computers

Saturday January 20, 2024 02:00 PM EST
Cost: Free-$15

From the venue:

“Talking Tech” at CMoA is a presenter series for all ages. From 15 to 105, you will enjoy a wide array of topics in tech happening today from industry insiders.

This month’s speaker is Bill Nussey, Partner at Tech Square Ventures and Engage, author of Freeing Energy.

“Through the transition from mainframes to PCs to smartphones, computer technology decentralized computing power and put it directly into the hands of users. Solar panels and batteries will similarly decentralize energy generation, moving it from centralized plants into homes and businesses. The history of computing provides a blueprint for the bottom-up energy disruption already underway.”

“Talking Tech” begins at 2 p.m. on January 20. The talk is free for members or with museum admission.
