Scraplanta, a local non-profit on a mission to make Atlanta’s art scene more sustainable and accessible by collecting and reusing old art and classroom supplies, will host art workshops for all ages the first three Tuesdays in December at Misfit DIY Wrapping Co., located on the second floor of the Central Food Hall. Each week’s workshop — “Gaudy Garlands” on December 5, “Unconventional Wreaths” on December 12, and “Toilet Paper Candles & Poinsettias” on December 19 — will be free and open to the public from noon-3 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. Check Scraplanta’s event calendar for registrations and more details — coming soon.
