The Emory College of Arts & Sciences has chosen artists Tamika Galanis and Davor Vincze as the second cohort of the Emory Arts Fellows Program for 2022-2023. Bahamian native Tamika Galanis is a documentarian and multimedia visual artist who will lead a course for the Department Film and Media Studies entitled “Experimenters: Carving Out Space for Us.” Composer Davor Vincze, artistic director of contemporary music festival Novalis, will teach “Sci-Fi and Experimental Music,” examining “the iconic music of popular science fiction while covering the basics of creating experimental and synthesized sounds for film and television.”
