Club Hertz Live with ozello

Sunday December 12, 2021 07:30 PM EST
Cost: $10-$35

From the venue:

ozello is a six-piece queercore band of punks with songs about love, death, and the queer experience growing up in the Deep South. The bulk of their music is written by their lead singer, Jeofry Wages, who founded the band in late 2016 and slowly collected the rest of their bandmates over the last five years. Their musical inspirations range from bluegrass to punk to musical theatre to indie rock, but at the core of all their songs is the examination of different facets of life, death, hurt, and healing through a queer lens. ozello is based out of Atlanta and play all over the city, frequenting Boggs Social Club, The Masquerade, Smith’s Olde Bar, and 529, with bands like Sarah and the Safe Word, SASAMI, I’m Glad it’s You, and Live Well. Their first full length-record is coming out in early 2022 with Say-10 Records, and the whole band is ecstatic to be here! We really hope you like our sad gay yelling.
