You guessed it, it’s time of year again, to start talking about the 8th annual Original Mannequin Project. In past years, we have used a great party and raffle system to give away some amazing art and prizes. This year, we were thinking of becoming a completely unqaulified POTUS and spend our term in office offending and alienating every culture and an entire country, all while dodging and blocking attempts to have us impeached, then we heard somebody else stole our idea. Looks like we’re just going to have to throw an amazing party again, with an open bar, cool art, DJ, photo booth, prizes, etc. For the art this year we’ve kept some of the classic recipe, while adding a little new flavor. We are still providing a limited number of artists with retired/exhausted mannequin heads, and they whatever they see fit - whether it’s painting, filleting, adding antlers, tattooing, deconstructing, or putting them in a TV. The idea is to challenge artists, across all mediums, to work on the same canvas, and see what they can bring to life. Our new flavor for this year will be an electric scooter category. We have a limited number of artists who will approach a brand new electric scooter with the same challenge.
