Stories on the Square is a monthly open mic personal storytelling performance in Decatur held the second Tuesday of every month. All who wish to share a true personal tale, without notes, as time allows, are welcome. The rules are simple: No notes, music, singing, poems or fiction. No political or ex-lover rants. Absolutely no stand-up comedy routines are allowed. The stories must be personal and true. You have seven minutes. There is no required theme, the May suggested theme is What ails you?”“At Famous Pub
