Like to garden? Want to learn more about it? Fernbank Science Center’s composting and pollinator gardens are located at 156 Heaton Park Drive, Atlanta, GA 30307. We need volunteers to help tend our compost bins and gardens. We have a pond, a bog garden, and vegetable, pollinator, herb and shade gardens. The time commitment is very flexible and you are always partnered with an experienced volunteer. Come and enjoy the science center’s exhibits, see the planetarium and observatory, and work in a great garden. Interested? Contact Fernbank Instructor Trecia Neal.
