Take the family to the Kennesaw this weekend for KSU’s fourth annual Owl-O-Ween Hot Air Balloon Festival, a two-day festival packed to the gills with entertainment and activities appropriate for kids and adults. Hit up more than 20 vendors, kick back at the beer garden to wash down snacks from the likes of Tom + Cheese, Loaded Burger, the Freakin Incan, and Mellow Mushroom, among others, and then check out more than 130 performers, including Imperial OPA, Powerhouse Dance Company, an L.E.D. Experience, and music from Southside of the Tracks, Zclive, the Highbeams, and many more. End the night with the main event: tethered balloon rides that take flight at sunset. Who says “family-friendly” can’t be exciting?
