Atlanta writer Makeda Lewis’ latest release, Avie’s Dreams is an adult coloring book unlike many others. Avie’s Dreams fuses afro-centricity, gender, and queerness with ancient Greek stories, Renaissance tales, and surrealist poetry in a coming-of-age story told partially through activity book images.
