Serenbe takes Frozen out of your television and straight into the woods. In The Snow Queen the outdoor theater examines the same Hans Christian Anderson tale that inspired Disney’s mega-hit for the third year in a row. Brother and sister Kai and Gerda battle the evil Snow Queen. Gerda must conquer her fears to save her brother from the Queen’s powerful enchantment. Rachel Teagle’s adaptation of the German tale sees love overcome cynicism, good overcome evil, and family overcome fierce odds. Serenbe celebrates all with snowfall at the show’s finale.
