The Transportation Security Administration is hosting a hiring fair on Tuesday, Aug. 9 and Wednesday, Aug. 10 for individuals interested in working as security officers at Atlanta’s international airport. Attendees will be able to complete multiple steps of the hiring process, the TSA says. The agency will present an overview of working for the federal government and discuss benefits such as paid leave, health care plans, and 401k coverage.
Starting salary is $17.84 per hour with possible increases after six months. A sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 is offered to eligible new hires, half of which is payable after one year of service.
