NEWS BRIEF: Atlanta Bicycle Coalition gets a new moniker

The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition has changed its name to Propel ATL following its merger with Pedestrians Educating Drivers on Safety (PEDS). The 30-year-old nonprofit unveiled its rebrand during last week’s Blinkie Awards.
“Propel is positive and action-oriented,” Executive Director Rebecca Serna explained in an announcement. “It illustrates both the actions of people moving themselves throughout our city and their collective efforts to make Atlanta more accessible by all kinds of sustainable transportation.” letspropelatl.org
