PETA's “Without Consent” display in Emory Village

The violent history of human experimentation on animals is the subject of a troubling exhibit making its way around the country. PETA’s “Without Consent” display launched Wednesday in Emory Village and will continue through the weekend.

“Without Consent tells the true stories of animals harmed and killed in experiments that they did not and could not consent to,” says PETA Vice President Dr. Alka Chandna. “Humans are only one animal species among many, and having the power to exploit the others does not give us the right to do so.”
It’s no coincidence that the tour is making a stop on the campus of Emory University, site of the controversial National Primate Research Center formerly known as Yerkes. peta.org
