Atlanta Habitat and its Repair with Kindness (RWK) program has received a $100,000 grant from the Charlotte-based Merancas Foundation to assist local seniors with critical home repairs and wraparound services, according to a press release. Habitat’s cost-free RWK program is available to non-Habitat homeowners who live in parts of Atlanta and South Fulton County, and is also offered to honorably discharged U.S. military veterans or active-duty personnel in the same areas who meet eligibility requirements. atlantahabitat.org
