?ICYMI: Ellsworth Kelly, the minimalist painter art critic Jerry Saltz refers to as the “American Matisse,” died this week at 92. Saltz penned a heartfelt tribute to the artist at New York magazine: “Even when Kelly’s work can seem repetitious, you can feel it extending your ideas of how shape, space, color, and place interact with and alter one another in real time, affecting perception, stopping you in your tracks at how much imaginative grandeur something this simple can contain. ...
